Then, let me highly recommend "Land of Contrasts" video/DVD on Big Bend National park available through the Big Bend Natural History Association (also available in Spanish). I picked up a DVD on my most recent most excellent adventure and it is very good. It is narrated by current/former BIBE employees, has an interview with a fascinating elderly women who grew up out there, explores all aspects of the park, etc. Shane Allen and I Authorize This.
